Supported Living Services (SLS):

JEC Miller, Inc. offers supported living services to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities requiring daily staff presence to support them in providing for their daily needs.

These services are provided in one of our licensed, family-style, homes typically with 3 other individuals, or in the individual’s place of residence. JEC Miller, Inc. staff work with individuals to develop person-centered programs that assist them in improving or maintaining their physical, intellectual, emotional, and social functioning.

In-Home Family Supports (IHFS):

JEC Miller, Inc offers in-home family supports to families and individuals in their family homes to support the individual in meeting some of their personal goals related to improving or maintaining their physical, intellectual, emotional, and social functioning.


JEC Miller, Inc provides crisis respite services, including The IDD Stabilization Program which was developed in collaboration with Dakota County Social Services to provide support to families and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities that are at risk for out of home placement due to significant mental health and behavioral concerns. These services can be provided in our 4 bedroom stabilization site, Rosalie Way, in Lakeville, MN, in family homes across Dakota County, or in some cases in other counties. The program is designed to help the child and caregivers optimize family functioning, build resilience, and restore hope. There is a combination of therapeutic and respite services provided over the course of the program. Services included would be crisis respite and crisis respite specialized.


JEC Miller, Inc provides professional specialist services to individuals, staff, and caregivers of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This service may include assessments, program development, evaluation and monitoring specific to outcomes identified in the person’s support plan. JEC Miller, Inc. specialists may also provide training and supervision of staff and caregivers in the implementation of recommended supports and strategies.
