The Phoenix Residence, Inc is a nonprofit organization founded in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1974 by Margaret Ludden, a parent of a son with disabilities. Margaret formed a coalition of parents like her that had grown children with developmental and physical disabilities.
Our goal is to assist the individuals we support to be as independent as possible through daily programs and getting out into the community.
We currently have three openings at our homes in Saint Paul, Maplewood, and Newport. Our homes in Saint Paul and Maplewood are ICF/DD homes, while our Newport home is a 4-bed waiver site. *Please note our Newport home is an all-female home!
Several of these homes are in quiet, residential neighborhoods, but close to major highways when needed. One of our Maplewood homes specializes in supporting those with autism. We are near Lake Phalen, Maplewood Mall, and many day program providers, restaurants, and stores.
You can learn more about the homes here: Homes – The Phoenix Residence
Our staff are trained in daily cares, CPR, first aid, and medication passing.
REMINDER: To be able to utilize ICF/DD services, an individual must:
