We are Beverly and Glenn. We live with our dog and two cats on a farm a short distance away from Frazee and Detroit Lakes. Our one-story home has five bedrooms, two bathrooms and a ramp at the entrance to support someone with limited mobility. We also have a van, and services like People Express and Medivan can access our home to provide transportation if someone desires it. We live within a short driving distance from many restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations and medical facilities.
We have been providing foster care for many years and have a desire to support people to be the best they can be. We have four extra bedrooms and we would love to give someone a home environment to live in. I have relationships with several of the people we have supported and enjoy the reward of helping someone be successful.
Every summer we attend gatherings for both sides of our family. We enjoy our grandchildren, who visit often. We are also very involved with our church and enjoy participating in church activities. We are a Catholic family and attend church services regularly. Our motto we live by is “everything happens for a reason.”
We enjoy gardening and grow both flowers and vegetables. Beverly enjoys watching Hallmark movies on TV. While we are kind of homebodies, we enjoy community fundraisers, church dinners and family get-togethers. We also enjoy sporting events, fishing and watching TV.
We will welcome you into our family by including you in our family activities if you desire. We will also support you in decorating your bedroom and including your personal photos that you value. We hope to support you to meet all your goals and have fun doing it!
