Homeward Bound, Inc. was established as a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization on August 14th, 1973, by parents of children with a variety of abilities. Today, HBI supports individuals with disabilities providing individualized and innovative housing settings with 24-hour support services that can incorporate specialized nursing care.
Homeward Bound, Inc. follows a person-centered, active support approach to ensure that the individuals we serve have a hand in directing their services and a voice concerning their future. We place no limits on what a person is capable of accomplishing.
Every day we work to empower those we serve and their families with resources to make informed decisions and control their own destiny.
We believe that interacting with one’s community is central to a person’s life. We work to ensure accessibility so each individual can be part of their community in every way possible.
We are proud to be a part of the community.
