We are Juan-Ita and Jacob Dada and we live in Champlin, Minnesota. We have a beautiful split-level home and our neighborhood is quiet. We are surrounded by nature, with walking paths and parks nearby that we enjoy regularly. We are easygoing, empathetic, and deeply committed to helping others succeed. We are opening our home because we believe in the transformative power of compassion, connection and community. We’re excited to welcome someone into our lives and walk alongside them as they build confidence, skills, and a feeling of community. We believe that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and compassion, and we’re ready to extend that care to someone who joins our family.
Our lifestyle is centered around balance, wellness and meaningful engagement. A typical day in our home starts with waking up at a reasonable time, getting ready for the day, and participating in community activities. We prioritize proper meals, goal-oriented tasks, and time to unwind. We take time to listen to each other, encourage one another, and maintain a peaceful atmosphere in our home. We show care through words of affirmation, acts of service, and quality time.
Our favorite way to relax is enjoying nature or simply being together—whether that’s watching TV, playing games, or having thoughtful conversations. We feel happiest when we’re helping others achieve their goals and building relationships that matter.
Juan-Ita has eight years of experience as an occupational therapist, working with individuals with identified needs to help them regain skills and adapt to living safely and independently. Her professional background allows her to tailor support to meet each person’s unique needs, offering one-to-one guidance. Jacob shares her passion for helping others and brings a calm, supportive presence to the home. We’re especially suited to supporting someone with learning needs who may be working toward greater independence.
As young professionals, we’ve both chosen careers that center around helping others, and we find deep fulfillment in creating a space where someone can feel safe, respected, and truly at home. Our goal is to offer more than just a roof over someone’s head; we want to provide a nurturing environment where personal growth is encouraged, goals are supported, and every individual feels valued.
