New Direction Family Foster Care is located on the shores of beautiful Island Lake Reservoir just outside of Duluth MN. We welcome children into our home and family, offering a structured program in a safe and stable environment.  Our mission is to help children pursue their goals while offering them positive supports all within a nurturing family situation.  With 20 years of experience in child foster care, we are confident in our ability to help and encourage any child to grow and develop as they enjoy opportunities to explore their individual interests in this tranquil and serene setting.  We spend a lot of time enjoying the benefits of lake life; swimming, fishing, boating, BBQ s, bonfires, and a multitude of other outdoor activities.  We also love to travel and we take at least one trip annually providing children with experiences they have never had such as Caribbean cruises, scenic road trips, a house boat vacation, and much more.  We have immediate openings and look forward to meeting the next member of our family.
