The Phoenix Residence, Inc is a nonprofit organization founded in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1974 by Margaret Ludden, a parent of a son with disabilities. Margaret formed a coalition of parents like her that had grown children with developmental and physical disabilities.
Our goal is to assist the individuals we support to be as independent as possible through daily programs and getting out into the community.
We currently have three openings at our homes in Saint Paul, Vadnais Heights, and White Bear Lake. Our homes in Vadnais Heights and White Bear Lake are both ICF/DD homes, while our Saint Paul home is a 4-bed waiver site.
Our Vadnais Heights home is centrally located in the city—conveniently close to Hwy 35E, shopping malls, and restaurants. Just 10 minutes from there, our White Bear Lake home is minutes away from the beautiful lake and nearby parks.
Meanwhile, our Saint Paul home is located south of historic downtown, near many local attractions including Harriet Island, the Minnesota Science Museum, and the Mississippi River.
You can learn more about the homes here: Homes – The Phoenix Residence
Our staff are trained in daily cares, CPR, first aid, and medication passing.
REMINDER: To be able to utilize ICF/DD services, an individual must:
